Pfc. Devon Gibbons, Port Orchard, died June 23rd 2006 at the Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Tex., of injuries sustained on April 11 when a makeshift bomb exploded near his Bradley fighting vehicle during combat operations in Taji. He was a cavalry scout with the 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division based at Fort Hood, Texas.
