Marine SGT Joe Lee Wrightsman, 23, who grew up in Tracyton, died July 18, 2010 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. Sgt. Wrightsman was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
